Bottoming can (and should) feel amazing, and there is a lot you can do to improve your experience. The anatomy of your ass The anatomy of your ass Being informed about your anatomy—knowing where things are in your body—is an important first step for anyone who has anal sex. During anal sex, the penis (or dildo, or whatever) is inserted into the anus, passing the external and internal sphincter muscles, and in the rectum. The rectum is connected to the sigmoid colon, which is where the caca is collected and stored by your body before you are ready to take a caca. It can take 2-10 hours until it is filled and you have to defecate. That means there's a little time between when you eat and when your colon is filled (although there are several factors that can affect this). External and internal sphincters: relaxing " external and internal sphincters: relaxing " stretching When we talk about stretching muscles for anal sex... What muscles are we talking about? External and internal sphincters (your rear hole) need to stretch, or relax, to allow the entrance. You can control your external sphincter (skeletal muscle) consciously, while the inner sphincter (smoot muscle) is not under voluntary control, and may need some additional coaxiing to relax. This is a difference between the smooth muscle against a skeletal muscle. When people experience pain during anal sex, a simplified reason may be that the external sphincter does not relax before your partner's penis enters. Nervous endings Nervous extremes produce sensations through light touch or pressure by transmitting information from an external stimulus to your brain. Around your anus, there are many nerves that can produce pleasure (or pain). Foreplay can help you start enjoying the sensations around your anus, and also help relax your sphincter. Try this exercise at home: When you are alone or with a partner, use a light touch or a plumage around your anus to help relax. Use different types of touch, different types of pressure and explore what feels good. Keep going as long as you enjoy it. Try this exercise at home: Some people may be overly sensitive around your anus, and may benefit from desensitization exercises. To help desensitize, apply deep and wide pressure (a flat hand) around your anus to help calm your nerve endings first. Then lighten the touch, as above, and see if you can ease your mind and learn to enjoy the touch around your anus. The pelvic floor The pelvic floor The term " pelvic plant" is most often used when talking to women about pregnancy-related issues. Everyone has a pelvic floor, however, and is intricately linked with how to urinate, how it shits, its "core stability", and the erectile function (for people with a penis). The pelvic soil itself refers to the muscles that sustain organs in the pelvis. Will most people feel the muscles on the pelvic floor? Not likely. But by feeling the movement of the knee that extends (this sense of body movement is called kinstatic consciousness or proprioception) and can identify your quadriceps that make that movement, it can become aware of the pelvic soil muscles. The pelvic floor has 3 states of movement: neutral, hired or raised (often known as Kegel), and descending. These are also associated with different mental states: very relaxed, normal day to day, and high tension or anxiety. When preparing for anal sex and background, it is better to relax, and also start playing with constriction, relaxation and rolling with the pelvic floor muscles. The shape of your rectum The shape of your rectum Your rectum is not a straight tube, there is a curve in your rectum called anabrectal anangle. Imagine for a minute a long balloon that twists at an angle of 90 degrees around 10 centimeters from the end of it. This is the shape of your rectum, which allows the caca to hold until you are ready to go to the bathroom. During anal sex, it is better if the anorrectal angle relaxes slightly so that the rectum becomes more linear. Helps make this happen using the pelvic floor muscles to support during sex. Your rectum: Is there a poop in it? One thing people assume is that there are feces (poop) right inside their inner sphincter (the back hole) in their rectum. Usually, this is fake! Your poop is stored in your colon until you are ready to use the bathroom. When you're sitting on a toilet, the poop travels from your colon through the rectum and out your anus. Some people still prefer douche your rectum before anal sex (more about this later), but you should know that even if you are not dumb there may be no caca (depending on consistency) in your rectum. If you're gonna have anal sex, I think it's important to be comfortable with the idea that yes, shit, it's coming out of your ass. If you're afraid of that idea, you can stay with oral sex or you can work on feeling comfortable with the idea that it might happen. If you're too concerned that the poop appears during sex, you're going to impact your system in a state of anxiety that can negatively affect the sex you're having (I know because it used to happen to me). Your mental state Your mental state Our anal control consists of voluntary and involuntary muscles. If you are afraid, anxiety, worry or fear, your sympathetic nervous system ("light or flight") takes control, which can result in a very negative experience that will remember your body. That is why it is important to take time to relax, prepare and enter into the proper frame of the mind to enjoy the sex you have. We are all different We are all different Be aware that our bodies are built differently. It is very common as a practitioner to see minor variations in anatomy without blinking an eye. It's nothing. My anus is in a slightly different position than yours. My prostate angle is different from the guy on my right. My flexibility is different from the person on my left. You got the picture. This means that we can all enjoy slightly (or vastly) different sexual positions and background forms. The cut-off sex doesn't always work. Be willing to communicate and test different positions with your partner until you discover how to enjoy it together. Get ready for entry Get ready for entry Now that we've covered our anatomy, let's talk about positioning ourselves and getting ready for the bottom. Some people like to play before anal sex. It usually takes several hours when food migrates in the lower intestines, so don't worry if you've eaten just before you want to play. It's better if you're completely relaxed, and that includes your anus. Breathing deeply can help, but especially trusting your partner is paramount. Putting a certain lubrication around the external sphincter can reduce the risk of tearing. (Learning can increase the risk of HIV transmission and sexually transmitted infections.) Lube can also help comfortably! While your top starts inserting, go down. What, what? That's right. Push out while your top comes in. When you go down through your pelvis without tightening your external sphincter (this is the place where the muscle control of the pelvic floor enters into play), it will allow your anorectal angle to be more linear because your pelvic floor muscles will relax. If your partner has a bigger or thicker penis or dildo, keep going until you feel comfortable. The bearing allows the muscles to elongate and adapt to the changing sizes. The top will feel less resistance and it will be easier for them to enter you. The rest is easy as long as it's nice. Stay relaxed and enjoy the ride as best you can! Change positions as much (or as little) as you want. Remember, now you can control your external sphincter muscles and your pelvic floor muscles, so you can control the pressure around your partner's penis at any time. What I mean with this is that you can restrict your penis and apply a pressure from within (in the inner sphincter with a Kegal light) and also closer to the base (through the external sphincter with a firmer Kegal). Call the tempo and the duration of the contraction while you're penetrated and sex can be raised to a new experience! Whether you want to have anal sex, use larger dildos, or just enjoy the feeling stretched, the same principles apply. Follow these guidelines and cry with pleasure instead of pain.1. For anal beginners, a good thumb rule is to start with. But if you want a more accurate idea of what size you should start, play with your fingers. Take them, see how many can fit into their ass, and then measure their circumference. Divide your measurement by pi and choose a plug with as close as possible diameter.2. I recommend dimensioning in increments up to 1′ in circumference, or 0.25′-0.3′′ diameter. This should give you a challenging, fun and feasible stretch.
